The Challenge
Spire required a website that would emphasize its position as a leader in construction procurement, while also being mindful of a tight budget. The challenge was to develop a custom, visually appealing WordPress site that effectively showcased their diverse range of services and expertise. Furthermore, the website needed to compete with larger firms within the industry.
Our Approach
Our approach strikes a balance between aesthetic ambition and programming efficiency. We designed a custom look for Spire that gave it a distinctive, high-end appearance while utilizing repeatable WordPress components as its foundation. By creating flexible, modular elements that could be reused across the site, we maximized design impact and minimized development time and costs.
Design
The Spire brand was centered around a vibrant orange color, which we were excited to incorporate into our design. When paired with a dark gray, it created a striking visual user experience. To enhance this color scheme, we implemented a clean design featuring subtle background textures, giving the website a layered and sophisticated appearance. The design was completed with image overlays, custom iconography, and a strong typographic hierarchy.
Web Development
Although the budget for this project was limited, we chose to use WordPress as our content management system and avoided using any bloated page builders. Our goal was to create a custom website featuring clean code that would be scalable for future updates. To stay within budget, we built and implemented reusable page elements, reducing development time and saving money.
We are absolutely thrilled with the website and couldn't be happier!
