Weitz had a website that was dated and difficult to use. This was hampering their ability to share their insights and expertise. In addition, the website was not in sync with their current branding. They needed a website that fit their brand better and provided a much better way to publish content.
Our strategy with the Weitz Website project was twofold. First, we wanted to provide a fresh new design that was a perfect fit for their brand. Secondly, we wanted to leverage the power of WordPress to give them the publishing power desired. We developed a custom WordPress website that perfectly fit their brand and featured a backend that gave them incredible control of the website content.
We created a clean, fresh design for the website with visually pleasing pages that are easy to scroll. We leaned into Weitz yellow brand color to bring vibrancy and energy to the design. Custom iconography was developed and used throughout the website.
We wanted the website to be informative, engaging and immersive. A visual drop down navigation was developed to better guide the user and animations were utilized throughout the website to enhance the user experience. Custom project filters allowed the user to easily view the types of projects desired. We also focused on having a strong internal linking structure so that users could easily click through to related projects, team members, blog posts, markets and more.
As part of our ongoing development, we targeted specific market pages for promotion and further development. We started with the Mission Critical market to focus on their vast experience with data centers. We met with the Mission Critical marketing team and developed a custom landing page to attract new customers and convey the benefits their team provides. A targeted SEO campaign pushed traffic to this critical landing page.
